{OOC: I thought I'd try to make people more active with my first post with my newest character. ^-^ Enjoy!}

It was a calm and peaceful day. White fluffy clouds slowly blew across the light blue sky. The sun was high up in the sky, shining brightly. Nearby, birds slept in their nests. It was so peaceful, it seemed like everyone was dead even though all who inhabited Soul Society was in fact dead. There were no disturbances of any kind, everyone was resting taking this beautiful day as a day of relaxation, one not often gained. However, they all felt safe with the gates being locked and no one being able to leave Soul Society. There was not much for them to do anymore except train and sleep. Seeing this as an opportune moment to strike, Koji rose from t he dirt. No one was around, so he knew that he'd have to gain the attention from everyone. Even though he was an outcast to the shinigami, he was never captured and banished to the human world. He continued to reside within the shadows of Soul Society, reeking havoc on the gotei whenever he felt like it.

Extending his pale, claw-like hands from underneath his black cloak, the wind picked up. The clouds in the sky passed by quicker than before. Dust and debris flew all around. "This silence will never do." he said to himself as he conjured up a giant sandstorm. "Maybe this will catch their attention." he said as he continued to walk down the empty street. "But--" he started as he pointed his hand toward a wall in front of him, "Just in case--" a flash of blue light shot from his finger and turned the wall into a pile of rubble. Koji stood there, waiting for the fun to begin.

With an evil smirk of one that the devil would use right before he deceived yet another soul and condemned them to hell, Koji turned to face the newly arrived shinigami. "Is this it?" he asked in aww-struck. "Out of all the captains in Soul Society, I am stuck with you?" a look of disappointment filled his face as he looked to the ground. "Here I was looking for some excitement. Run along, little girl, send someone more capable of standing on par with me in a battle." he laughed, shifting his eyes upward, his head remaining pointed downward. The sandstorm continued to rage on as Koji continued about his business as if nothing had just happened.

"Thats mighty rude of you. To come to the Seritei and disturb such a beautiful day with your filthy antics and your trash talking. To a Vice-Captain of the Gotei 13 no less,.. Shameless beast" Kenshin said as he suddeny appeared before the intruder, his captains Haori fluttered in the winds of wipping sands as me gently held his straw hat with a bowed head concealing his face. "Mizuame-San, Please inform the others about this pitifull dogs presence while I handle him. Unless you would like to be the first to punish this mutt for his earlyer disrespect"

Kenshin's speach sounded as if he were a super hero of the soul Society but two seconds later he busted out in laughter. "Psshh, hehehaheahhaaaa!, Aww man I tryed to keep a strait face bu,hehahaehaa, but that was just too funny. Hehahaehaa ahh, Dont get me wrong I ment every word of it but the way i said it,, Aahhh.. Golden" Kenshen was now hunched over with his hands on his knees from the outburst of laughter. At one point he almost fell to the ground he laughed so hard at his attempts to be concitered a serious captain.

Koji looked over at the poor excuse of a captain. "Soul Society's standards are really lacking, to let such a person as you be a captain?" With a deep sigh, he began to rant on and on about how horrible Soul Society has become. However, his rant was interrupted by the female vice-captain. "Really now?" he said as he disappeared with a flash and then reappeared right behind Kenshin. "Now, now, you should know better than that." Koji's sandstorm now moved in his direction, Kenshin in between the two. It began to condense itself into a sand tornado, capable of ripping the flesh off of the bone with the rapid shards of sand striking you, piece by piece. Pointing his hand toward Mizuame, Koji began to speak the encantation. "Hado #44, blue fire crash down" as the words left his mouth, a blue flame erupted from his hand and was shot toward the foolish vice-captain. "Now, as for you, Kenshin." Koji said as he leered down toward the captain. Koji swiped his hand across his chest as a gust of sand began to fly right at Kenshin. "Your death is now eminent."

Kenshin watched as the intruder quickly moved behind him chanted an encantation. "Hado #44, blue fire crash down" Then made his sand fly towards him Kenshin then called out "Bakudo #73 Tozansho" Creating an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around arround him blocking the sands advance. "Yea well we may be lowering our standerds, but not concerning our members. Its more like our enemies we have trying to oppose us. Its kinda boreing" Kenshin then laughed as he turned to face the intruder.

{OOC: I'm sorry, I'm skipping Mizuame because she is taking way to long to respond.}

"You're quite an amusing one, you are." Koji said as he looked at Kenshin. The female lieutenant had been temporarily knocked unconscience by his kidou blast and rendered useless in combat for now. "Now, I can focus all of my attention on you, captain." he said with a sarcastic tone. Koji always had the smug look on his face, a face that said 'I am better than you, get over it.' It was his cocky personality, although sometimes good because he never gave up until he succeeded, his enormous ego occassionally distracted him from his true goals. "Now, captain, shall we take this battle to the next level?"

Raising his hands up high, Koji's reiatsu began to increase extraordinarily. The intense pressure he was emitting off was enough to crush a weak spirited being. However, a shinigami of captain rank should have been able to brush off such immense pressure as if it were nothing. Finally, Koji's hands began to glow with a pitch black aura. He had began to change. The sand on his arms fell to the ground, grain by grain, as they hit the ground, it sounded like rain drops thumping on a hard surface. The sandstorm subsided within an instant as well, as if it were never there to begin with. All movement of sand finally ciesed as it hit the ground with a thud. The black aura began to grow and spread to cover Koji's entire body. Koji's hair grew longer, now flowing down his back. His skin became paler, as pale as the white moon, high above the sky on a dark night. His entire eye was engulfed in black, a most terrifying black, one that appeared to pierce right through you as soon as he looked at you, one that could peer right into your soul, one that showed nothingness when someone looked straight into them, one that could cause someone to become lost in the sheer emptiness, the pure pitch black nothingness in his eyes.

His rising reiatsu now shot through any scale system that it could have possibly been on. His dark aura sent a cold chill down anyone nearby. Shifting his empty eyes over to look once again at Kenshin, Koji began to speak. "Have you ever wondered where I received the name 'Sandman'? Knowing you, probably because I have the power to control sand. No, no, no..." Koji started on a relentless rant. "Although that may have been a cause of the name, the true meaning of the name comes from my bankai abilities." A smug smile grew on Koji's face. "Now then, do you think you have enough courage to face your fears?" he said softly as he waved his hand across the air. In the wake of his hand motion, pitch black darkness began to spread across the area, creating a dome that blocked any sense of sight. "Let's see how well your other senses work." Koji said as he flashed away and right behind Kenshin. Leaning into his ear, he whispered: "Can you feel it yet? Can you feel the spine-tingling terror?" With another flash, Koji had disappeared from where he stood. However, due to the darkness, it was undeterminable to determine where he went. He could be right in front of Kenshin, or he could be 50 meters away from Kenshin.

"The true test of fear," he started, his voice echoing from a distance, "is to see how well someone can fight when they look fear right in the eyes." Koji's voice began to fade.

After the sands subsided Kenshin's shield cracked and shattered before vanishing, Kenshin then quickly looked around and noticed the lieutenant had been knocked unconscience by Koji's Hado blast . "That was very impressive. The way you directed that sand attack while fireing off that Hado simultaneously. Again very impressive" Kenshin said to Koji as he began to clap and slowly walk towards him, Kenshin then pointed at the unconscience lieutenant. "Sho" he called out pushing the Shinigami aside and away from the battle, just as he did Koji responed "You're quite an amusing one, you are... "Now, I can focus all of my attention on you, captain."

Koji then raised his hand up high and begain to increase his reiatsu. "Now, captain, shall we take this battle to the next level?" Koji then begain to change in appearance, this transformation took only a mear moment but when he was finished he motioned his hand and a pitch black darkness began to spread across the area, creating a dome that seemed to blocked any sense of sight. (Damn, This can't be good) Kenshin thought to himself as he heard Koji stop behind him and wisper in his ear. "Can you feel it yet? Can you feel the spine-tingling terror?" Kenshin then heard as Koji quickly moved then lost the sound as th distance widened. "Spine-tingling terror huh..? Sorry but it was never my thing" Kenahin said as he drew his Zanpakuto and held it with the blade inverted and started to draw a circle on the ground then he cut into four parts with a specific character in each section, he then took a defencive stance before starting to chant. "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain. Bakudo #58 Kakushitsuijaku" (This spell Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on.)

Koji stood and watched as Kenshin began to draw figures into the ground with his zanpakuto. When he heard him chant "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain. Bakudo #58 Kakushitsuijaku", Koji knew exactly what he was doing. "Ah, you're a very clever shinigami, no one has every thought of using that. Now you can track my spiritual pressure, however, there is one flaw with that--" Koji cut off as he held his hand out to his left side, Koji began to speak once more. "Hadou #88 Hiryugekizokushintenraiho" a gigantic blast of spiritual energy shot out in a completely different direction, creating an explosion of reiatsu in the area that it hit. "How can you track my reiatsu when I can send it in many different locations?" Koji said as he flash stepped away from where he stood, shooting off another blast from Hadou #88 as he landed right behind Kenshin.

"Now then--" he started, pointing his hand now at Kenshin's back. "Hadou #88, Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!" he shouted as another blast of kidou shot out and was hurled right at Kenshin. With another flash step, Koji appeared right in front of Kenshin, zanpakuto pointed right at him. "You feeling the terror now?" Koji laughed as he began to run at Kenshin, slashing and slicing at him.

As Kenshin stood there waiting in a defencive position, Koji broke the moment of silence as he spoke to Kenshin. "Ah, you're a very clever shinigami, no one has every thought of using that. Now you can track my spiritual pressure, however, there is one flaw with that--" Koji then started to fire off mutible Hado's as he shunpo'd around in the darkness with no specific target, His only fouces seemed to be throwing Kenshin tracking Bakudo off of his location.

Koji then stopped behind Kenshin and said in a smug tone "Now then--" before calling out "Hadou #88, Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!" fireing off another Hado at his back then useing shunpo to attack Kenshin from the front as he asked again "You feeling the terror now?". "BANKAI-Riri-su Boufuu Kyoudai" Kenshin called out quickly causeing a massive wipping of wind to surround him and disburst violently from his location causeing the Hado blast to be deverted.

Kenshin now stood with one of his Huge Battleth blades blocking Koji's on comming attack. "Like I said fear is not my thing.. And incase your woundering how I knew you were comming from the front and not the back.. You continued on your path after I released my Bankai your Hado did not" Kenshin then smiled and let out a slight chuckel and as he did Kenshin wipped his other blade to his left. When the other Battleth blade was released it spun relentlessly creating a large tarnado that would draw in Koji if he were close enough and slashes him multiple times.

Jumping back a long distance, Koji was not out of reach of Kenshin, however it was as if he was being pulled in by a force. "What is this?" Koji thought to himself. He held his ground as best as he could, but there was nothing he could hold onto, it was just a black dome of nothingness. Losing his stance, Koji began to slip and slide into the whirling tornado of Kenshin's blade. Knowing that there was nothing else he could do, Koji hurled himself toward the force that was pulling him in. He thrusted his sword, creating sparks that flew everywhere from the metal clashing. Using as much strength as he could muster, Koji flung the once-spinning sword onto the ground. "Now then--" Koji chuckled as he wiped off some fripping blood from his face. "It looks like I got you into your bankai--this should be fun."

Koji extended his palm once more; "Hado #63 Soren Soukatsui!" As the words left his lips, two strong balls of energy shot out and headed right for Kenshin. Koji then flashstepped and shot Soren Soukatsui from every direction; North, East, South and West. With one final flash step, Koji was lifted up into the air, hovering right above Kenshin for only a split second, until he launched himself down at Kenshin. "Hado #31, Shakkaho!" A ball of fire shot down at Kenshin, leading a melee attack from Koji. Once more, Koji began to slash at Kenshin, hoping to land a hit this time. "You're cornered now, there's no way to go!" he shouted as he mustered up all of his strength to swipe his sword.

Kenshin heard as Koji strugguled to avoid his twisting dance attack, with the clashing of metal and sounds of tearing flesh Kenshin hoped that the attack had ended this useless battle. Kenshin then heard a thunderous boom as his blade was forced to the ground ending his attack, He then heard Koji speak. "It looks like I got you into your bankai--this should be fun." Kenshin then heard as Koji called out Hado after Hado as he shunpo's around him. "Not good" Kenshin said almost in a wisper then called out almost in a panic. "Bakudo #73 Tozanshō" Creating an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around himself yet again but just as he did Koji was above him fireing off another Hado.

"You're cornered now, there's no way to go!" Kenshin heard Koji shout out as all the Hado made impact at once with the barrier causing the barrier to shatter Kenshin then raised his blade above him. Koji's and Kenshin's blades then clashed sending Kenshin to a knee from the intense impact, just as his knee hit the ground Koji's blade sliced through Kenshin's straw hat and plunged into his shoulder. "Clever.. ~Spits blood~ Very clever" Kenshin said to Koji then pushed up on his blade pulling Koji's from his body. Kenshin then extended his hand drawing his other blade towards him and as it came to him it spun viciously creating a tranado once again.

Koji looked out of the corner of his eye and saw the incoming tornado. "You can't fool me twice." Koji said as he flash stepped directly behind him and placed his zanpakuto at his back. "I'd call it off, if I get pulled, my blade with dive right into your heart." Koji then laughed and waited for Kenshin to make his move.

Kenshin smiled as Koji placed his blade to his back. "Ok, Ok" As he said these words his blade hit the ground plunging its self in to the ground. "So what is your purpose here intruder, is there someone you are looking for, or do you just like bardging in on people and starting trouble" Kenshin asked as he started to walk away from Koji's blade and towards the clang of his.

As he made it to his blade he reverted his Zanpakutos to there Shikai form and turned to where Koji was. "Before we go any further this is what I feel the urge to know, also I would like to know the name of the man I am battling" Kenshin then drove his two blades into the ground side by side then sat on the ground leaning on the flat sides of his blades.
