This Fanfic Is the work of some buddies I have on a avatar RP forum. This is a fanfic however and please have a read il post more chapters every now and then . This is the first . * i did not write this lee and Zfish9 did *. Please enjoy out adventures in the world of avatar .

Okay so this is a fanfiction based on an Avatar RP. There are a number things that must be kept in mind. The first being, this is supposed to be as accurate to the actual RP as possible. Which means, there are changes from the past tense to the present tense since most people were RPing for the first time. Also, there are some characters that are more towards the underdeveloped side. However, this will change over the course of the story as the participants have improved their characters greatly. So enjoy this story! We hope to update this once a week or every couple of days.

It was midnight in a Fire Nation outpost, Fire nation loyalist were gathered to receive orders…

The night silence was broken at the voice of a female, as she reported to the loyalist.

"You all have been called for a matter of grave importance.

It has been reported that an item concerning the Avatar has been found in a neutral trading town, located near our borders we cannot attack or rather it would be folly for we do not know where it is...."

That’s why I have call you here gentleman, you must get that factor! Now stand up and announce yourselves"

Three shadows stood up one by one announcing themselves.

The first of them step out of the shadows. "Ryuzaki reporting, we already gathered the information we need."

He said while bowing he then looked at Azula and smirked. "We will move out immediately, Queen-sama."

A larger shadow moves into the light and speaks.

"We are at your command your Excellency…” Abarai said.

“I will move covertly in the town and will make contact with the informant and watch from a far the others will take care of the Item.” He bows more out of obligation than respect, then slowly retreats into the shadows.

Azula looks around the room and then glares down at Ryuzaki. "I trust you will do well. Oh yes Ryuzaki next time I might see that as an insult, idiot.

Ryuzaki seemed to be shocked for a second but he gain he's composure. "Ah! Well my bad I meant as an obvious statement of the future...."

He then whispered to himself. "You haven't changed a bit." He then heads for his destination.

The third uncrosses his arms and takes his foot off of the wall behind him and stepped up next. However, his face is still hidden. There was a clank of metal as he put his foot on the ground and stepped forward. He starts to speak in a low, smokey rumble.

"And I ma'am....Jin here. I'll recon the area and then move in to secure the item, your highness...." He slips backwards into the shadows and disappears, no doubt heading toward the target.

In a neutral trading town smashed in the borders of the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom, a local tournament is starting. Townspeople wander around to watch the proceedings, others hope to enter and win some gold. One thing everyone could agree on, it was bound to be exciting.

"Come one, Come all! Come and Join the Annual Junior Tag Team Tournament!" Says the Announcer, hoping to draw other into the tournament to add to the excitement.

Besides, he gets paid for every person who enters the tournament.

"This time around we have a surprise victory gift and of course we have the Prize Money!!” The announcer says, hoping that the allure of money will help more people feel confident enough to enter. “So come in and sign up, you might even win!"

While the man talks about the tournament, a boy named Seth walks up to the man. "I will enter, but I have no partner." Said Seth.

The Announcer hears Seth and says, “Well, don't worry. This time around the teams will be randomly picked! Just wait at the registration office, Good luck hope you win!"

After Seth registered, Seth moved to where he was told to wait and he waited.

A girl named Kozue walks up to the announcer with a pet weasel named Itachi on her shoulder after Seth. "I'll enter." Kozue says.

A look of joy comes over the Announcer's face after hearing that. "Wooo, things are starting to look good!" he says. "Wait over at registration office please."

While the announcer was talking, Rosso, another girl walks up to the announcer. “Can I have an entry form please?”

Before the announcer could say anything, Lee darts and dashes to where a crowd of people seemed to converge, while pushing through people to not miss the action. "Count me in!" Lee says, wanting to enter immediately.

Right after her, Roister, a young Earth bender walks up to the announcer “I’ll enter as well.”

But of course, anyone could've seen that the announcer was rushed by all the entries.

“My oh my! Well right this way little lady, you too kiddo! As well as you kid!” says the announcer as he signaled them to where the other contestants were waiting.

The announcer starts to walk around, looking for more people to join. “Come on, Come on! A once in a lifetime opportunity! Join now before it’s too late!!!”

Ai, a young, and short girl, walked over. "A once in a lifetime opportunity ehh? Count me in!" she says.

Rosso, seeing her, walks over to Ai. "Since it’s a tag team, want to join up being girls and all? I understand if don’t not knowing me and all."

"Sure! Sounds cool" Says Ai, responding to Rosso’s suggestion.

The announcer over hears the conversation and walks over to the two talking contestants. "Whoa, whoa, Wait just there little ladies don't get too excited! This year’s the teams will be randomly picked from all the contestants that singed-up! To add more flavor to the matches!"

Says the announcer with a disappointed face. "Sorry if I ruined you're big plan there!"

"Oh fish sticks...” says Ai. Then the first part hit her. “Hey who are you calling little?" she says defensively.

The Announcer looks at her with a surprise look on his face. “Ohhh…?” he said as he observers the girl up and down, and smiles. "Oh, my bad ma'am!" He then chuckled a little and continued his announcements.

Lee taps feet due to the boredom of waiting for everything. He starts picking up sticks and breaking them out of boredom. "Sigh… how much longer are you going to keep us waiting?" Lee asks.

"Stay patient, they will tell us when they are ready." Says Seth, as he waits patiently.

Ryuzaki walks up to announcer and picks up a registration form, and then walks up to the other contestants and sits awkwardly with the others. "Eh...so much info...so annoying..." he says as he starts to fill the empty registration form.

While waiting, Rosso starts eyeing up the competition trying to look for weaknesses, or hints of their power, but to little avail. Eventually she starts meditating for focus....after being frightened Ryuzaki for some unknown reason.

Lee snaps out of daze. “Huh!? We need to fill out forms?” he says as he grabs one and starts putting info on it. While doing so, he looks around to see the competition. "Wow these competitors look nasty, this is going to be tough. Yagh!! That man should really use a grinder on that bump...oh wait that’s his face."

Ai looks up at the same man and starts to laugh. Then she quickly starts to fill out her registration form, whistling innocently.

Seth takes a registration form and starts to fill it out. He stays to himself. "Why are they asking for all of this information?"

Rosso considers using her mirror to spy on the people filling out forms, but does not. Mainly due to worries of getting caught for cheating.

While everyone was writing down their information Lee was spying. He peers on Ai’s paper. "Lighting!!! Shooting lighting!!!"

He then goes up to Rosso's paper. "...pressure...points...Oh great! And what’s going to be on my paper? A sword and a boomerang."

Ryuzaki stands and starts walking toward the registration office to return his form only to stop suddenly and glare at Lee who was moving around looking at everyone’s form. "This guy is a...freak..." Ryuzaki said to himself, as he returned his form, which the only the thing written in it was his fighting style and name.

Ai sees Lee looking at her paper and bonks him on the head. "Stop cheating!" she says.

Rosso also sees Lee cheating, but off her paper, and hits some pressure points in a comic fashion.

"Ooowww!!!” says Lee as he rubs his head. "It’s not cheating it’s information gathering! The first step to victory is to know your enemy"

"It is also the first step in getting you killed." Seth replies to Lee.

Lee goes up to the registration desk and hands over a crumbled and ripped form after getting beaten up.

"Here you go!” Then returns to Seth "Yeah Seth but running into a battle half prepared is a good way to die to...I mean a bad way."

"Hmmn… so I take it you don’t know much about anyone...yeah" says Rosso to Lee.

Seth yawns a bit after completing his form and returns it to the desk. He walks back to the waiting area and sits on the ground to meditate.

Ai hands in the registration form and sits back down, completely bored. This was a stupid idea, what was she thinking? She had barely any sleep from the night before and she was entering a tournament. Just brilliant. "Remind me why I'm doing this again?"

Itachi runs over to the registration desk, grabs a form in his mouth, and gives it to Kozue. Kozue then starts to fill out the blank form.

Rosso runs up to Itachi and her hare called Eva hops in through a window to play. "Awwww, I love your weasel! I never see them in the fire nation...oops"

Kozue gives her completed form to Itachi and he returns it to the registration desk. "You're from the Fire Nation!?!?” Asked Kozue surprised in reply to Rosso’s statement.

"Ummmm… who said I’m from there… I ...said I never see them there… I went on… um… holidays there...yeah" Rosso then quickly walks away while she was trying to think of why she still couldn’t put her fingers on it why Ryuzaki scares her...almost as much as her old acquaintance Azula.

Ryuzaki hears the conversations and chuckles. "You guys are your average warlords aren't you....?” He sits down again and keeps a smile on his face.

Rosso realizes how childish she is being and goes back to meditating.

Ryuzaki stands and walk over to where Rosso is meditating and stares at her. “Hmm.....meditating? You're taking this far too serious...lady-san” Ryuzaki said with a warm smile. The thought behind the smile there was however, was a series of questions of who and why...

Rosso tries to keep calm but her heart rate goes up. She is sure that she had heard the voice before… when she was with Ty lee and Mai waiting outside…before she ran away. "I’m not questioning your methods punk, now back off!" She says as she goes into a deeper trance, thinking of how scary lightning is.

Ryuzaki expression became shocked for a second, but he regained his composure. "Oh! Who knew something so pretty could be so rude!" He said as he sighed. As he turned away he waved and said with a smile, "Well see you around, Spunky Beauty"

Rosso blushed realizing that was the closest a guy had ever been to her, she tried to get rid of the thought by chanting she took top layer off and was in her fish netting and carried on meditating. Eva was minding her fan for her.

"Whoa" Ai says as she pulls a rose out from nowhere. "I sense there's something in the wind haha!

Rosso picks up her fan and blows the rose away. "Stop being a thorn in my side please” she asks impassively and sits on her fan, thinking how screwed she is if Azula shows up.

"Hey! That was a pretty rose -_-" Ai said. She then pulls book out of nowhere. "Well if we're going to be here for a while, might as well make use of the time."

“Well the first batch of participants has been made!” says the announcer. “Please take a look at the list and head to the barracks, meet you’re tag team partner well and Good Luck!” He says as he then places a list on the wall and leaves.

The list said that these people would be teamed together:

Roister and Seth

Borong and Zhong

Ryuzaki and Ai

Lee and Rosso

Kozue and ????

Akem and Roy

Zaraki and Luang

The Boulder and Hippo

Hirsohi and Tsu

Yaiba and Ju

Renji and Ochi

As Kozue scans through the list, with Itachi on her shoulder, she spots her name but only a series of question marks for her partner. Confused she asks “Why don’t I have a partner?”

The announcer who was in the process of leaving says “Oh that is because there has been a special reservation for a spot in the tournament for one of our contestants. She will be paired with you and should be her any time now.”

“Oh ok.” Kozue says with a smile before leaving.

"Brilliant. The super hyperactive knuckle head...yeah" said Rosso sarcastically, seeing that she got Lee for a partner.

Ai puts her book down. "Finally!" she says, tired of waiting. She sees that she is teamed up with Ryuzaki and Looks over at him. "Well looks like we're team mates." She says to him.

Ryuzaki hears Ai talking to him and he turns to gaze at her. "Ahh...Are you a heart bender...!?" he asks, "Cause you bended you're way into my heart!!!" Ryuzaki said with an innocent smile.

Ai blushes but then soon regains herself. "Oh I see, you're one of those guys that flirts with every girl he sees" As she rolls eyes sarcastically and then smiles. Perhaps joining the tournament wasn’t a completely stupid idea. It would at least keep the thoughts of her missing friends at bay. She might as well have as much fun as possible. At least, she might as well pretend to have fun.

Ryuzaki shook his head in disagreement "Wha..!? No, you have it all wrong my heart only belongs to you Ai-Chan!" Ryuzaki said while kneeling and smiling.

"Don't go all lovey dovey on me Ryuzaki-kun." Said Ai to Ryuzaki as she smirks.

Ryuzaki nods to Ai’s comment. "Ok, ok ,ok! We'll have time for that after we win" Ryuzaki said while smirking and slightly tapping her with his elbow at the same time. "Well, I wonder who's going to be our opponent…"

Ai smiles at Ryuzaki, "Yes, after we win "

Rosso walks over to Lee. "I’m Rosso and you are?”

"Well it looks like the teams are decided, I'm Lee and I… um… come from far away." Lee says to Rosso. "Hey! Wait a minute! Who are you calling a hyperactive knuckle head! …Ok maybe I am"

“…Well I think we should start accumulating battle formations and strategies don’t you...yeah" Rosso whispers to Lee, "So what can you do...can you bend? I can’t but as you know from peeping I’m good with the human physiology and targeting its weaknesses, I can deal with close combat well enough but… mid-long range all I can do deflect things with my fan...yeah"

Lee stretches and moves around a bit. "Ahhh its about time, my bottom was getting sore. Uhhh I mostly use my sword and boomerang skills"

"...You can’t bend” said Rosso in disbelief. “This might get awkward… so much for balanced team …eh ...yeah. So ...if you stay in mid range while throwing..."Rosso continued going over plans while Lee does not seem bothered. “Sound good Lee?"

Lee thinks to himself as he looks over at Ryuzaki. Man that guy is freaky...something twisted about him…he has the eyes of my brother…

Lee then snaps out of thought by hearing Rosso speaking. “Huh? Oh sorry. Yeah I'm ok at distance with my boomerang and close up with my sword"

"Well I suggest we get a big meal and rest up for the match, no sense in wasting much needed energy. Then maybe later we’ll train." Said Lee.

"So...I think I got a plan" said Rosso as she walks over to Ryuzaki and blows a kiss then walks back to Lee. “Kunoichis that attend the fire nation’s academy for gifted girls are taught to seduce...but I kinda failed that class...could you tell? Lunch sounds great by the way"

"Yeeeeeeah! Let’s get something to eat, during that time will find a better strategy." Says Lee, eager to eat.

"Agreed" Rosso says as she realizes, besides her papa, that she had never spoken with a male this long.

Ai immediately becomes defensive, "Who are you blowing a kiss to?" She says as she looks over to Ryuzaki to see his response.

Ryuzaki grins mischievously. “Oh my! I think I might be hypnotized by her kiss!" He then looks at Ai. "Do you have something that may dispel this Ai-Chan?"

Ai twitches for a moment. "I'll give you something to dispel it! My fist!" She says loudly as she bonks Ryuzaki on the head.

Ryuzaki falls to the floor and then rubs his head. "Ay, ay, ay Ai-Chan!! You’re new to this dispelling stuff aren't you?" He then starts to rise from the floor.

Ai helps Ryuzaki up. "Well what did you expect?"

Ryuzaki tilts his heads to the side. "Well, something more romantic." He said. "Anyhow are you a bender? Cause that would help all I have with me is my Bo"

"Pfft. please if you want romance, stop flirting with other girls!” Said Ai. “And Yes, I am a bender. I'm a fire bender."

Ryuzaki lowers his look and places his hand across his heart. "You're words cut deeper then any blade!" He says as he clinches his fist. "I promise you! Ai-Chan I will never be unfaithful again!" Finishing his words he reaches out and hugs her closely. Although she could care less what he was talking about, the hug seemed...comforting.

“Awwwwwww” Ai says as she hugs Ryuzaki back.

Eva hops up to Ai with a note. The note said that Rosso destroyed the rose because she has hay fever, her nerves are bad and it has a sincere apology on it.

Ai, while still hugging Ryuzaki, reads the note. "Oopsies heh heh"

Lee walks into the restaurant. "Pork ramen please, with every spice and hot sauce you have! Don’t put it in the stew, give it to me dried" he then looks at Rosso "Uh… make that two"

“That’s ok I’ll pay for both of us I’ll have a vegetarian meal please, I hate spicy food....that’s all they have where I live ...yeah" says Rosso. She then pays for meal and then starts checking food for poison.

"Hey! Thanks!" says Lee, after he hears Rosso will pay for it. Lee immediately starts chowing down the stew. He looks up to see Rosso checking for poison. "Uhhhhhh…what are you doing? Your food isn’t going to bite you, you know?"

"Hmmm? Oh I’m paranoid...I used to have a ‘friend’ called Azula. Azula was a bit mean, and I’m still paranoid." Said Rosso, explaining her checking it for poison.

Lee finishes eating his meal and packs up the bagged hot spices. He then leaves restaurant when the sun was close to setting. "Time to start training"

Lee then goes to some tree to practice his sword and boomerang skills "All these contestants have bending and skills that look to overpass mine, gotta train harder"

Rosso finishes her food says her goodbye to Lee and heads somewhere for a rest, on the way she gives Ryuzaki a wink and giggles thinking too herself, God if he falls for this I’m asking for a recount on my seduction exam.

When she got home, she looked through her window. In it, she sees Lee training and decides to ambush him. When she got to Lee, she took out her fan.

Suddenly a gust of wind flies at Lee from Rosso’s fan. "Fancy a warm up battle?" Rosso says.

Suddenly, a huge bell toll could be heard all over the town. It was the ceremonial Tournament Bell. Various Announcers started shouting & announcing it all over town.

“Its starting the first match will begin shortly!” one of them says.

“Can you hear it?! The bells are ringing! The bells are ringing!” says another.

“Ai & Ryuzaki V.S. Borong & Zhong!” A third announcer says in the town.

Rosso grabs Lee’s hand and drags him to get good seats, then she began blushing, realizing what it must’ve looked like. "Sorry Lee."

Ai looks over to Ryuzaki "Are you ready?" she asked with a smirk.

Ryuzaki hears the bells still confused at Ai's reaction. He uses the bells as an escape. "I’m sorry...Well let’s start!!" He said as his sad expression changed dramatically. "Let’s go!"

Ai is confused by Ryuzaki's sad expression, but distracts herself by looking for their opponents and waits for instructions as Ryuzaki and she arrive.

Seth walks up to the announcer. "Are the tag team duels open to public view?"

The announcer looked at the young man and replied, "Yes, that’s the whole reason of hosting a tournament! Everyone has to buy tickets to watch it, but seeing as your one of the contestants, you can go in and watch for free."

“Free seats? Works for me!” says Lee.

“Seth, Kozue wanna join me and Lee to watch?” asked Rosso.

"Sure, I have nothing better to do right now." Answered Seth.

"Sure, I'd love to!" Kozue replied.

Roister suddenly wakes up, not noticing that he fell asleep. “When did I fall asleep? Oh, the teams are set up... looks like I'm teamed with Seth. No need to fill out the form now…” He says rubbing his eyes groggily.

Have you ever considered writing a script or a play? Your style seems to point in that direction, which is pretty cool. Not every writer can do that =P

This is'nt my work its the the Admin and moderators of the site we Rp on. They written it very thanks for the comment . Reception good and bad is welcome.
